Al Letson is a poet/playwright/comic book writer/storyteller and public radio host.
Al’s manifesto for Transom, “Back to the Future,” is about diversity and its discontents, focused specifically on public radio. He tracks his experience through “State of the ReUnion” to “Reveal,” sometimes calling himself out for narrow thinking and calling on the rest of us in public media to conceive our sound with more awareness and to speak with more voices on behalf of more of our nation. He asks us to “fix time” with our stories.
It’s an important rallying document and we hope you will click here to read it over at Transom.
