The Frontline Dispatch is the podcast of the esteemed PBS program, Frontline, U. S. television’s longest running investigative documentary series.
In 2017, Frontline decided to create a podcast and enlisted the help of Jay Allison at Atlantic Public Media, and independent producer Sophie Crane, in developing it. Jay served as Senior Editor and producer/engineer for the first season.
In 2018, Frontline was awarded a Gold Baton, the Alfred I. duPont-Columbia University Awards’ highest honor, the first one given in a decade. Among the documentaries singled out for this honor were the Frontline Dispatch episodes produced by Samantha Broun and Jay Allison in collaboration with Transom, found here.
